My Work
In this project, my work focused on level design and iteration, puzzle design and refinement, as well as the development of the horror shader. However, the main goal of the project wasn’t just about the game itself; it was about creating marketing materials, identifying our target audience, and developing playtesting reports. This experience taught me a great deal about practical and transferable skills beyond just game development.

My Takeaways

Looking back at Wrapped, there’s a lot I would revisit and improve. First, my horror shader needs a proper rework, and I’ve actually done that since. The game would definitely benefit from the updated version. I’d also revert the library design to one of the original concepts, where all the sections are contained within a single, larger room rather than separated into smaller ones. This would encourage more exploration and help players feel a bit lost in the space, enhancing the atmosphere. Wrapped ended up straying from the original concept as development progressed, but I’m curious to revisit it later as a personal project.
